Baker Products has introduced a new industrial band sawmill, the Super Streak 3650E.

The new Super Streak is powered by a 50 hp electric engine and runs a 2-inch band blade on 36-inch diameter wheels. The sawmill weighs 9,500 pounds.

The Super Streak is equipped with computerized setworks using a servo motor for fast, accurate cutting; they can be set to within 1/10,000-inch. The auto mode enables the setworks to make several cuts automatically without operator intervention.

The Super Streak offers versatility by giving the operator the option of two-way off-bearing for sawn material.

The operator control station is a remote console chair with easy to use joystick controls for all sawing and log handling functions.
