Cresswood Adopts New Name, Logo

   Cresswood Recycling Systems, which manufactures grinders for the pallet and sawmill industries as well as other industries, has changed its name to Cresswood Shredding Machinery.

   The name change is part of a new branding campaign designed to position the company for the future.

   Cresswood, a division of Dun-Rite Tool & Machine Co., also has a new logo that corresponds to its new name.

   The name change and new logo were announced at the International Wood Fair in Atlanta.

   “Cresswood has evolved into a major player in the advancement of technology to efficiently reduce wood, paper and plastic waste,” said CEO Jack Cress.

   “The focus on waste reduction in the manufacturing and retail sectors has led to a new appreciation of how confusing a ubiquitous term like ‘recycling’ can be,” he continued. “Our corporate identity has been updated to more accurately portray the products and services that Cresswood provides.”

Topp Earns Spot on Inc. 5,000 List

   Topp Portable Air has earned a place on Inc. magazine’s list of the top 5,000 fastest-growing privately-held companies in the U.S.

   “Receiving this award validates what we have been doing and strengthens our position in the HVAC industry,” said CEO Daniel Topp.

   Topp also was recognized by the magazine in 2000 as one of the top 500 companies.
