Trace Equipment, known for its pallet recycling and manufacturing machinery, is introducing its new Nail-Mate Automatic Nailing Jig and Stack-Mate Automatic Stacker. These two machines work together to form a complete automatic nailing and stacking system.

            The Nail-Mate nailing system is a single operator, automatic firing, pneumatic operation. It can be used to build three or four stringer pallets and wing pallets up to 50x50. Mona Tracy indicates that an operator can manufacture up to two pallets a minute on this new nailer. It is counterbalanced for coils of up to 3,000 nails.

            The Stack-Mate automatic stacker features an adjustable capacity to stack up to 20 pallets. The pneumatic operation uses a chain feed and an electronic eye for accuracy.

            Trace anticipates having this new system at the Richmond Show in May.
