Bob Stabb Retires from Viking

Long time Viking salesman Bob Stabb is set to retire from Viking Engineering & Development.

Rick Autey, equipment sales manager for Viking, said, “Bob will be enjoying his retirement in Wisconsin with his wife Melissa. I speak for the entire Viking team in extending all our best wishes to Bob as he enjoys this next new chapter in his life.”

Bob started with Viking in 1987. He has been responsible for placing many Viking systems and creating satisfied customers throughout his tenure with Viking.

While Viking transitions Bob’s former sales territory, the company asks customers and prospects to contact Viking’s home office for the most immediate assistance at 800/328-2403 or info@vikingeng.com.

Dennis Goshert Retires

Dennis Goshert is one of the best known and recognized people to the pallet industry. Few people are more associated with the world of pallet lumber sawing. After 31 years of service with Pendu Manufacturing, Inc., “Senior” has been an icon in the industry and has served in a variety of positions with Pendu over the years, most recently as service manager.

Dennis began his stay with Pendu in the late 1970s as a field service technician, a position he held for about five years. He still has lasting memories of how Pendu machinery is respected in the business because of its durability, quality, and value. During his tenure with Pendu, Dennis has dutifully held the positions of salesman, sales manager, plant manager, and service manager. He has recently been serving as service manager and will hold that position until he retires in September.

When asked about his plans for retirement, Dennis replied, “I’m just going to take it easy, relax and do nothing.”

The pallet and sawmill industry wishes him good luck in his retirement and says a big “Thank You” to him for his 31 years of service to our industry while working with Pendu Manufacturing.
