The CWPCA recently named Bill Eggertson of Ottawa as its new Executive General Manager. Eggertson is a journalist who transitioned into association management. He previously ran the Canadian Association for Renewable Energies.

Eggertson has devoted his past 25 years to the promotion of renewable energy and climate change mitigation. He has worked as a senior executive or consultant for five national renewable energy associations, has written for the top renewable energy magazines in Britain and the United States, and has worked on climate change issues for the British government.

The CWPCA board believes that Bill's experience will be instrumental in positioning CWPCA members and the Canadian wood packaging industry as the best, environmentally friendly choice for packaging.
