At its annual meeting in January, the Western Pallet Association selected its new slate of officers for 2011. Kathleen Dietrich of Commercial Lumber and Priority Pallet will serve as past president. Ryan Stearns of Atlas Pallets is the new president; Tom Worthen of Wasatch Pallet is the new vice president, and Mark Garnett of Garnett Wood Products is the treasurer.

            The Western Pallet Association decided to reduce the size of the board to a more manageable level. In addition to the officers listed above, the board will consist of three members and two associate members.  The current board will include Greg Vipond of Girard Wood Products, Kelly Bennion of Challenger Pallet, Pat Sherry of NEPA Pallet and Container, Ian Carter of Crane Point, and Tye Winsor of Metolius Forest Products.
