CWPCA Reschedules Meeting for October
The Board of Directors has rescheduled the 2011 annual CWPCA meeting to October 17-18 in Toronto. Canada. The Ottawa venue was canceled on short notice, and the reserved lunches were donated to a homeless mission and to an environmental charity.
The new October meeting will include meetings of both the outgoing and incoming boards of directors. It will open early Monday morning and include key speakers and information sessions as well as the business portion of the annual meeting for members only. Details should be released soon via twitter and email, and posted on the annual general meeting website: http://wpm2011.com.
The CWPCA has also released its new association logo. The trademark on the former blue pallet had expired, and there was desire to expand the visual scope of the CWPCA/ACMPC to include wooden containers as well as wooden pallets. The color reflects the ‘green’ credibility of wood as a renewable and environmental source of packaging.
