Viking Engineering, an established manufacturer of pallet nailing systems, just released its new MTX 401 tandem nailing system to meet the needs of pallet makers who are looking for added flexibility in its production cycles. The MTX 401 deck board hopper is designed to accommodate type-2 lower quality deck boards. Viking designed the MTX 401 to address market needs between its established Champion and Turbo capabilities. It wanted this new nailer to have solid production capabilities and accommodate used decking or lower grade new decking. This machine is designed with operator efficiency in mind and includes increased nail hopper capacity with a faster change-over process.

Viking has always set high standards in nailing equipment quality, reliability, speed and productivity (output per operator). The MTX 401 is no exception. Its output range is rated between 1200 and 1400 new or combo pallets per shift. With its pricing and output, the MTX 401 will be attractive to a pallet manufacturer who is considering a used tandem. Viking’s philosophy is why buy used if you can buy new at a much better value? The MTX 401 is Viking’s answer to help pallet companies take their business to the next level.

Viking has started taking orders for the new tandem machine and has delivery dates available for early 2013. For more information and additional details, contact Viking at 763/571-2400 or 800/328-2403. Visit its web site at www.VikingEng.com.
