Schutte Pulverizer Co. Inc., a manufacturer of size reduction equipment, has purchased the rights to manufacture and market the Buffalo Hammer Mill line of hammer mills, lump breakers, pulverizers and related equipment.

"This purchase agreement enables Schutte-Buffalo Hammer Mill to offer our customers a larger, more diverse product line," said Thomas Warne, president and chief executive officer of Schutte.

The combination of product lines will enable Schutte-Buffalo Hammer Mill to penetrate more markets, such as chemical and food processing, wood processing, recycling, aggregates, and animal feed production.

The companies have a combined 150 years of experience in crushing, grinding and pulverizing machinery. Schutte has produced hammer mills, pallet shredders and grain mills for nearly 70 years. Buffalo was founded in 1928, and its product line includes hammer mills from laboratory size to heavy industrial as well as lump breakers, jaw crushers and impact crushers.
