Amerimulch, which manufactures mulch coloring systems, has introduced a new piece of equipment that screens out large pieces of wood from the mulch coloring process. The Amerimulch in-line screen deck removes all overs and objectionable material in the same pass as the coloring process.

The new in-line screen deck provides several benefits to mulch producers. It helps ensure a final mulch product that is more uniform and less likely to damage coloring and bagging equipment. It also eliminates a step in handling — mulch producers do not have to regrind or screen their wood fiber as a separate process. And it helps prevent down time to equipment, said Scott Thompson, vice president for sales and marketing for Amerimulch.

Amerimulch manufactures the Color Mite series of equipment. It consists of three sizes of mulch coloring machines and in-line screen decks to meet the requirements of colored mulch producers of varying volume.
