Storti, an Italian manufacturer of pallet and sawmill machinery, will exhibit one of its automated pallet assembly systems at Expo Richmond May 17-18 in Richmond, Va. The Storti nailing system will be displayed at the exhibit of G. Wine Sales, which represents Storti exclusively in North America.

Expo Richmond, a leading trade show of pallet sawmill machinery, will be held in the buildings and grounds surrounding Richmond International Raceway, formerly the site of the Virginia State Fair. G. Wine Sales will have its exhibit in the Old Dominion Building.

The Storti Flex 2600, which will be on display, is a fully automated, beam-type, tandem nailing system. It can build both stringer and block pallets and has a production capacity of seven to eight pallets per minute, according to Storti. It features automated and semi-automated systems to load components, such as deck boards, stringers and blocks.

The Storti Flex 2600 will be fully operational at Expo Richmond and will be demonstrated assembling stringer pallets.

Joining Greg Wine at his exhibit will be five representatives from Storti, including owner and president Giancarlo Storti.

G. Wine Sales recently began representing Stortiís line of pallet nailing systems and sawmill equipment and has sold several of the Storti nailing systems to North American pallet manufacturing companies.
