High Point Tool Corp. has introduced a single-head horizontal band resaw that is also available in systems of eight to 10 heads. The new HP-400 resaw can cut material up to 16x16 and comes with a return conveyor with variable speed adjustment.

The High Point HP-400 resaw has powered saw wheel elevation and an optional digital position controller for accurate saw wheel positioning. Automatic blade tension is controlled by hydraulic cylinder, and infeed pressure wheel is spring-loaded to ensure smooth feeding.

The High Point HP-400 resaw is equipped with 28-inch saw wheels and runs a 180-inch by 1-inch, 0.035-inch blade.

The High Point HP-400 resaw has a simplified hydraulic power unit for power saving and a centralized control panel for operator convenience. The saw wheel motor is 20 hp or 30 hp.
