Suffolk Machinery Corp.’s E-1 edger has two shifting saws and two fences to double edging capacity.

It is 22 inches wide to accommodate flitches up to 26 inches wide and can cut material up to 3 1/4 inches thick. The variable hydraulic feed can be set for 0-60 linear feet per minute.

Effortless saw shift is accomplished with #40 roller chain and sprockets, and 600-pound rollers allow smooth feeding and board return.

The E-1 edger is equipped with three feed rolls and two pressure rolls for straight, accurate cutting. Heavy anti-kickback fingers protect the operator.

Power options include 22 hp gas, 15 hp three-phase electric, and pto. Powered outfeed table is optional.
