Rayco Develops Brander Conveyor
Rayco Industries, which manufactures pallet nailing machines, has developed a new brander conveyor for the pallet industry. The machine can brand up to 750 stringers per hour, according to the company.
The Rayco brander conveyor can be used to brand heat-treating labels or other characters onto pallet stringers.
The machine, operated by one worker, is designed for manual or fully automatic operation. The operator fills a hopper with stringers, the brand is burned into the wood, and the machine conveys the branded board out the front of the machine.
The Rayco brander conveyor works with stringers up to 60 inches long and 4 inches thick and wide. The temperature and timer of the branding iron are adjustable.
The machine can be wired for any voltage.
